Jared Peralta, MD

Dr. Peralta is a physician with a strong background in internal medicine, clinical research, and community health. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University.

Dr. Peralta completed his Internal Medicine residency at UCSF Health Stanyan Hospital, where he provided comprehensive care to diverse adult patient populations and developed expertise in clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary care coordination. He also participated in resident and faculty education through case presentations and journal clubs, while contributing to quality improvement initiatives.

His clinical and research interests include behavioral health, sleep health, health disparities, and improving access to care for underserved populations. During his time at UCSF, he conducted research examining mobile behavioral sleep interventions for adolescents and explored approaches to improving care for patients receiving treatment for opioid use disorder. His research has been presented at multiple academic and national conferences.

Dr. Peralta is also passionate about community service and health equity. He has volunteered at free clinics serving uninsured adults and has supported initiatives focused on mental health and well-being. His commitment to serving diverse and underserved communities has been an important part of his medical training and professional development.

He is a native Spanish speaker and is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care while building trusting relationships with his patients.
