Dr. Bhagya R. Arise is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician dedicated to delivering compassionate, evidence-based primary care at Central Neighborhood Health Foundation (CNHF) Health Clinics in Los Angeles, California, and is a core faculty member of the CNHF Family Medicine Residency Program, where she mentors and trains future physicians.
Dr. Arise earned her medical degree from Osmania Medical College, NTR University, Hyderabad, India. She subsequently completed postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Osmania Medical College before relocating to the United States. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, affiliated with Temple University, In Johnstown, Pennsylvania.
Prior to joining CNHF clinics, Dr. Arise practiced as a Hospitalist in DFW Metroplex, Texas for 18 years. She has extensive inpatient hospital medicine experience and has served on various hospital committees and mentored nurse practitioners and medical students with externships.
Dr. Arise is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on quality improvement , patient safety, preventive medicine, and evidence-based clinical practice. As an educator, she is committed to focusing critical thinking, clinical excellence, and hands-on learning, helping residents develop the knowledge and confidence needed to provide exceptional patient care.
Dr. Arise enjoys spending her time with her son and her family members outside of medical practice. Apart from this, she enjoys cooking, listening to music and reading. She has embraced the diverse and lively culture of Greater Los Angeles where she currently works and resides
